THE DEPOT

I rode down to the Gilbertville train depot today - alone (oh well). I took some pictures of the depot. According to the Cedar Trails Partnership newsletter the building could be demolished in the near future. I think it would be a great opportunity for someone to make it into something trail users could really enjoy. I think it would even make a great house for someone who has the ambition to do it. Anyway it will be sad to see it go because it does make that stretch of trail more interesting.

Nice to have the  Evansdale bridge rebuilt.

Gilbertville makes a good longer ride from Cedar Falls.
