TRAINING

Everybody has some sort of plan
whether you are getting ready for a big race
an Epic Tour
the 27th Street TT
to ride that one route faster or easier
set a new PR
or even the RAGU
Mike Johnson has a plan
a coach
and some very specific objectives.
Mike invited all of us to join him on one of his longer tempo rides on the gravel last Saturday.
An interesting ride - maintain the same wattage for over 3 hours
uphill/downhill/into the wind/tailwind/smooth surface/or ruff gravel.
Constant effort, period.
Kathleen playing Chicken with some large farm equipment
John and Mike holding the pace steady
........

Watch out for Mike and Kat in the races this year
The 27th Street TT is going to be awesome.
AND then the Leadville Trail 100 Mt Bike Race
and so much more.
........
regardless of your goals and program
take some time to ride hard with your friends.
John

  5. Bike Tech! I will be in Cedar Falls this weekend (Fri-Mon) for Easter, and was wondering if there were any road rides scheduled?

  6. Carson - We intend to ride both Sat and Sun - longer road rides. Probably friendly tempo rides.
    We'll post more info.
    Thanks for asking
