Tuesday Night Group Ride

Decided to join in the Tuesday Night Group ride - - first to show up - Blue and Pete sporting the BT colors. Pete on his new road bike - take a closer look.

A nice number of riders showed up - some new faces (at least to me) - David, Benny, Redg, Greg joined Kat, Carl, Blue, Pete, Super Saul, Brent and Chris from the shop rounded out with Fat Albert - I think I forgot someone.

Rolling out on 2nd street heading west. Plan to head to Finchford. Brisk WSW winds - thought it was supposed to be NW. Carl sporting the colored bubbles kit.
Once we hit Union road heading north the group started to split up with Fat Albert throwing down as usual and David giving him something to work for and Pete gave chase. Ron, Kat, Carl and Greg brought up the chase group and kept the pressure on. Tried to work some in the rotation but decided to keep conservative - thanks guys for working with me. When Greg took the pull - he just pulled away from us and never looked back. Carl, Ron and I could see Pete drop off and Greg getting closer as we headed into the Headwind section around Finchford. Caught up with Pete and Greg in Finchford.

Regrouped with Fat Albert and David back on Union heading south. Took C57 to Center Street.

Saw the rest of the BT Group riders go by at that intersection coming back from Janesville. Carl and I decided worked together towards the group. Greg and David were already ahead when Fat Albert and Pete came by us and we jumped on. The four us worked together coming around the BT group and held tempo back to town. A good solid effort - feeling good throughout thanks to the Plan and Partner. Check out Blue's report - he has the 411 on the BT Group and some more pictures.

Back in town - Fat Albert and Pete. Nice way to end the day. Train on - tomorrow is another day.
