A few Twisted Spokes had an opportunity to race in the first of Exergy US Grand Prix series in Sun Prairie, WI - the outskirts of Madison. The following pictures courtesy of Cycling News and VeloNews. The elite men were well represented with 2010 National Cyclocross Champion Todd Wells toeing the line.
This race had more than 1000 racers Pregistered. Planet Bike has put on this event for several years - with the last 3 years at UCI level. One of the reasons that the 2011 US National Cyclocross Championships will be held in Madison (Verona - suburb) this coming January 5 - 8th. Here's your chance to participate in big time racing - a lot of age categories - you never know.....

Sunday was a different story with quite a bit of rain making for very classic cyclocross conditions - lots of Mud. Landon - self portrait - did very well - 5th in M55+ Congratulations!
