IOWA CROSS RACING

The Dirty Wooden Shoe 

Pella Iowa's annual cross race is in the Books.

Kathleen Porter and two of the UNI Cycling team -

which Kat is the team faculty advisor

and all around great supporter 

showed up for the early season racing.

 We got several pictures of Kat and her action packed racing

but none from the boys.

The first race of the season and we have obstacles, barriers, tight turns, run ups - and we still have smiles

There was really good racing in the Womens Master Cat

Kathleen was in the money and on the podium.

Congratulation and thanks for representing the Spokes

The UNI guys did very well too with Phil Shirk - that's a familiar name??? racing in his first X event and Josh Peters turned in a great performance with a win in the always tough Cat 3's
