FROZEN 40

Fat tire bikes were racing in the Twin Cities area last weekend

Kathleen Porter and Karmen Woelber both headed north to take on the challenging 40 mile snow race.

The fatties have kept a lot of biker riding in winter conditions.

Over 200 racers showed up in Elm Creek Park in Maple Groove Minn for the mid winter fun

At the start it was like a group ride and like most mt bike races it became a TT.   Kat added the challenge of "going clippless" as she left  her good biking boots at home.

 

 

 

Both enjoyed the challenging event and plan on much more fat bike racing.
