Finchford Roubaix 2008

It was a very breezy day for the Finchford Roubaix. Everyone was thankful that it wasn't worse. 76 gutsy racers and over 30 brave and hearty volunteers helped make the 2008 road race a continued proud tradition. I drove the route backwards in order to catch the racing action. Here are but a few pictures.
Registration duo: Amy and Carey. Notice the tp. They are THAT prepared!

Race director Mike welcomes racer Kevin.
Local news coverage once again. Thanks for coming.
A couple people told me that they saw the footage that night.

They are off: Cat 6 men, junior men and women, Cat 4 women
Once they are off our official pours some much needed coffee.

  2. Great job everybody - this is a great event that Mike and BT put on - thanks to the racers and volunteers - braving those winds. It wouldn't be near as memorable had it been warm without any wind. Nice action shots of the racers and volunteers - earned their coffee I think. See you soon.
