Jenny and I spent a week at this amazing Monastery and Retreat Center in the Snow Mass Area of Colorado. Jenny was the director of a Centering Prayer Retreat and I hung out and enjoyed the country and the beautiful services at the Monastery.
After the retreat we headed West to Grand Junction and enjoyed getting to know this high desert community. It is similar to CF in many ways - except for the "high desert" part and the crops are way different. 
This was as close as I got to riding a bike - lots of public sculpture.
Good form, but she's going nowhere - fast
Two very nice downtown shops. And, it looks like there is a lot of fine mt. biking and road riding. And Fruita and Moab are just down the road.John

Sounds like we just barely crossed paths that weekend. I'm headed to Fruita again this weekend.
