The start of some Old Goats Racing in the snow on Sunday
second dude has won many National Championships
And our scrappy Landon Beachey showed him how to race in Iowa

  3. That muddy hill that Kat is riding down - and she was the first woman to even try it - was so slippery that you could fall at the top and easily slide for over 60-70 feet and many did. I didn't even try - for some unknown reason - it never entered my mind to attempt it. I mean REALLY.
    It would have got me on the podium - maybe.
    Regardless, it sure was a good time.

  4. i sat on my top tube, unclipped my left foot for balance, and used the rear wheel as a rudder. once you started there was no stopping. props to kat for her courage. that was a very intimidating hill with lots of hecklers! good stuff!!!!!

    yeah, i guess so, but steering from the rear made me think of a rudder. i was just praying that i didn't fall in that slop! :)
