No takers for the Mitchellville race on Sunday.... braved the strong ESE winds with Pete for some more gravel closer to home. Headed to Dunkerton.

Pete, Carey and Kat - headed east on the X-bikes. Going for some tempo and resistance - the wind is our mountain in Iowa. Got in 50 miles, some good gravel - actually a lot of sort of fresh gravel and some food!

You bet - Ended up in downtown Waterloo around lunch time - Sweet - at the Mexican Market & Restaurant La Chiquita for the Buffet! Awesome.
Carey's Family joined us in the eating as well -

Looking for more gravel and training plans in the near future - LT100 or bust..... will Lance still race Leadville given his recent crash and broken collar bone??? He WAS confirmed prior to the crash.
Count me in for the next one. Long tempo rides how can you beat em?

I forgot - Long Tempo rides with a stop at La Chiquita beats everything.
