SOME OTHER FOLKS AND SIGHTS FROM JINLGE CROSS

Saturday racing dawned clear and cold - but not too cold as the temps rose to 40+. Big field of Cat 3's in this picture courtesy of Blue. See Steve B. in the mass over the barriers which is just before the run-up.
Jingle brings out the Elite - this 10th place Tour de France pro graced Mt Krumpet and the IC/Jones Cty Fair Grounds - and the cold with his racing and riding and support of his Partner - Megan Elliott. Can you believe it - Chris Horner on the Johnson County Fair Grounds - Jingle all the way.
Indeed - Kim, Twisted Spokes #1 fan with Chris Horner - took the time to put this opportunity to connect with the Pros into the history books - Team Radio Shack - it doesn't get any better. And what spirit - the crowds of spectators are nothing else like you will see at the most of the Iowa Cross racing events - they could be, but these IC ladies raise the bar with enticing the racers with the booty of the day.
Iowa's Amanda Miller charging ahead of (Amanda's at least one-time coach) Meridith Miller who pushed Amanda to a hard charging race. This Iowa native was victorious and well done. Technical advantage is what Amanda brings to any race. Congratulations are well deserved. Fun to watch the race play out.

Twisted Spokes' - John Adamson and Amanda Miller (Hudz-Subaru)- two champions indeed.
Todd Wells - there you go with the top of the Fan List. Defending his Jingle Cross Championship 2009 against Trebon proved to be epic.
Todd Wells bunny hoping of barriers was well in good form after the Boulder episode. Trebon would prevail with our Favorite Todd Wells holding on to 2nd.

Kim - Fan of Todd - got her picture well and good with the Guy.

Opting out of the SS skin show - Kat raced with the Master's 55+ men - a warm up for the Older ladies M35+ race to follow.
Carson Christian - his 2nd X race ever! Got to throw down with the big boys! An appreciation for all that Cross racing is has lighted the fire in this talented racer. Look for him next season - ready, set, go.
